American Immigration Council (Hosted by Colorado Refugee Connect)

12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Immigration is among the most contentious political issues of our time. However, individual and group beliefs are not static, and there continue to be opportunities to broaden support for refugees and immigrants across the United States.

Join this webinar from the American Immigration Council to learn from their in-depth audience-segmentation research, which explored immigration related attitudes and belief systems of the American public.

They will discuss common ‘frames’ or ways of discussing and presenting immigration issues, as well as explore messages that resonate most with specific audiences. We’ll also learn more about key research and data available for public use by the American Immigration Council to support your local and statewide efforts, whether that be grantwriting, advocacy, or more. Finally, we’ll have time for a Q&A session so we can discuss what the implications of this research are for our communications and advocacy efforts here in Colorado.
