The African Community Center (ACC) is seeking a Refugee Job Readiness Program (RAH) Intern! The Ready for American Hospitality training program or RAH is a collaborative relationship between the University of Denver – Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management and the African Community Center. Classes are held at DU and the refugee students receive food safety education and skills training alongside DU Hospitality Management students. The program runs Monday thru Friday from 9:00am – 3:00 pm. The RAH intern will be involved with the comprehensive duties of the training program. The internship is flexible in terms of both schedule, time commitment, and duties performed. A proactive intern will identify areas to focus on for their own personal/professional growth. By performing the role, the intern will facilitate a smooth transition into American work culture and ultimately aid in refugee self-sustainability.

Schedule: 10-20 hours/week dependent on when RAH class is in session. Classes reflect DU quarter, holiday, and campus closure scheduling.
