OnTRAC College Readiness Program Intern

The African Community Center (ACC) is seeking an OnTRAC College Readiness Program Intern! The OnTRAC Intern will co-lead the OnTRAC college readiness program with ACC’s Youth Career and College Counselor and other OnTRAC Interns. OnTRAC is a college-readiness summer program that uniquely prepares refugee and immigrant youth to pursue higher education after they graduate high school. The OnTRAC Intern will be expected to take leadership and ownership over class facilitation and day to day operations of the program in partnership with ACC’s Youth Career and College Counselor. Demonstrated experience teaching, counseling, or leading youth programs is not necessary. This role will aid in improving the lives of refugees by forging a path towards higher education.
Schedule: June 4th– August 2nd: 27 hours/week x 9 weeks, Monday-Wednesday 10-4 Thursday 10-7

ECDC African Community Center of Denver (ECDC ACC) was established in 2001 as a program office of the Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC). Over its 17-year history, ECDC ACC has served over 6,000 refugees, asylum seekers, special immigrant visa holders, and Cuban parolees.
