The African Community Center (ACC) is seeking an Intensive Case Management Intern! This internship is through a program called, Preferred Communities (PC), which provides intensive case management to primarily single mother households. The goal of the program is to provide intensive services to those who need it most. The PC intern position will be split between direct service provision and file auditing/case note quality control. Direct service provision includes interacting with clients for intensive case management tasks (learning transportation systems, going to the doctor, etc.), and following up with clients to address their needs. This role will aid in moving our clients toward self-sufficiency and will ultimately improve lives of underserved refugee populations.
Schedule: 12+ hours/week; 4-month minimum

ECDC African Community Center of Denver (ECDC ACC) was established in 2001 as a program office of the Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC). Over its 17-year history, ECDC ACC has served over 6,000 refugees, asylum seekers, special immigrant visa holders, and Cuban parolees.
