School Family Liaison Intern

Improve Refugee Independence. Ensure a successful path to education for refugee youth as a School Family Liaison. Responsibilities include filling out registration forms, driving families to district and school registration offices, and helping families navigate school-related issues. In addition, you’ll increase your awareness of the challenges faced by marginalized populations.

ECDC African Community Center of Denver (ECDC ACC) was established in 2001 as a program office of the Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC). Over its 17-year history, ECDC ACC has served over 6,000 refugees, asylum seekers, special immigrant visa holders, and Cuban parolees.
