Getting around town can be tough. These volunteer help refugees learn our bus system, or drive refugees to health appointments or classes. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and provide proof of auto liability insurance at the level of 100,000/300,000/100,000.
LFS has been resettling refugees in the Rocky Mountain region since 1978, assisting refugees as they start new lives in the US to attain self-sufficiency and independence through support with housing, learning English, employment, social services, school programming, and more. As an organization approved by the US Government to also resettle Unaccompanied Refugee Minors, LFS works with foster parents from diverse ethnic and linguistic backgrounds to provide special training and support on the adjustment needs of refugee youth.
