At the Village Exchange Center we are given needs from our community that we are able to fulfill, with the assistance from our VEC members, partners and volunteers. The Village Pantry is no different; however, it has sprouted like a wildfire and continues to grow every week, twice a week! This Pantry was created with the need to feed the surrounding community, on a weekly basis. It started with a couple of volunteers, Rev. Marcel Narucki, and a donated box truck the Pantry was on its way. Now the Pantry serves over 400 community members and their families each week. We have picked up over 2,000lbs of food, from our partner at The Food Bank Of The Rockies, and continue to pick up more and more each week. Our goal is to reach over 1,500 community members and their families each month, and we believe we will meet and exceed this number!
